In 2021 and 2022, Media & Sound designer students of 2021 at FH Joanneum collaborated with second-year drama students of Kunstuni Graz. Each group developed their own documentary about the students' rehearsal. Selina May and I were responsible for film and postproduction, while sound design students Christoph Bus, Björn Bernreiter, and Florian Schaubmaier produced and edited the sound. I also created the motion graphics templates to be used by all groups, to enable a consistent appearance in all documentaries.
Our intention was to depict Hardy Jürgens and Chen Emily Yan just as passionate as they are. The documentary should be interesting, funny, and serious without losing Hardy's and Emmi's defining characteristics.
