Our group created an opening sequence for "The Long Way Home", an imaginery series. My contribution was an animation of bloody footprints in mud symbolizing the character's pain as he escapes from a prison.

Using Adobe After Effects, I animated footprints and ground displacement maps. Then, I added a camera in 3DS Max to follow the footprints as they appeared in the mud. I created the blood effects using a water displacement technique with a red color and added ivy to enhance the ground's appearance.
