In 2021, I joined the design team at eComLab, part of Medienfabrik Graz, and was responsible for modeling, shading, and rendering products for their new online shop 'Sprinters'.
I began creating standard business cards, but expanded them to a wider range of options. ustomers can use a configurator to select their desired products, which is why it was important to provide visualizations of each variation. For business cards specifically, these options include coatings like golden or silver hot foil, glossy UV-layer, colored edges, and double volume cards.
During the project, I utilized my modeling and shading skills to create various layouts, coatings, and bindings for brochures. Our objective was to make them appear highly realistic and professional, without being distracting, similar to the online shop's appearance. To give customers a better understanding of the size and dimensions of the product, reference glasses, bought on TurboSquid, were customized and added to each brochure. The product was sized up to fit the perspective and keep the viewer's focus. Additionally, I worked on the shading of the hot-foil rendering of books, designed and rendered a carsharing chip card, and created a LinkedIn and Facebook banner. Overall, I was thrilled to assist with every step of the project!
All designs and textures I used were made by the other members of the design team, as well as the modeling of posters, books, stationery, and much more products that you can find on their website.
